The Inaugural Rydir Gift Guide
It’s that time of year again! Holiday planning seems to start earlier and earlier, doesn’t it? I’d love to say I’m one of those people who has everything wrapped up by early December, but honestly, I’m not. Still, I always get excited about browsing gift guides and hunting down the perfect gift for the special people in my life.
This year, we thought it’d be fun to create an annual Rydir gift guide—curated with love, just for you! As usual, we are thinking of versatile, practical, luxe items that make your travel day easier. They have certainly made mine smoother. Happy gifting! xo, Kim
IN TRANSIT ESSENTIALS
- Cadence - These travel containers are perfect for all your lotions and potions! Available in a variety of sizes and colors, they even come with labeling options, so no more guessing which one’s your eye cream. Plus, the magnetic lids keep everything neatly together—practical and super cool!
- Bleu Salt’s - The Scarf. I’ve used it as a scarf, blanket, pillow, and even rolled it up as a makeshift back cushion on those long, bumpy flights where the seat has seen better days.
- Slip silk pillowcase - in a bold print. Keeping your skin and hair in great shape while traveling can be a challenge, but this pillowcase is a game-changer for both! I usually choose one in a bold print so I’m less likely to forget it on the bed when packing up to head home.
- Splendid sweatshirt - in grey or black. I own several of each because they’re incredibly soft and feel so luxe. You can tie one around your waist for a casual look or drape it over your shoulders for a more polished dinner vibe. They make a great gift for anyone on your holiday list!
- My invention, The Rydir Band is an unkept secret for many travelers, but now has a cult following that I am so grateful for! The band acts as a travel dust cover, plus secures your tote to your carry-on.
- Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm - It has great color, a smooth texture, and lasts for hours. Super moisturizing, and it comes in a variety of shades.
UNWIND & RECHARGE
- Nodpod Silk - Weighted eye shades. While they may not be for your travel day, they’re perfect for unwinding and getting a great night’s sleep once you arrive. Incredibly calming and super effective for deep, restful sleep.
- Slip Hair Scrunchies - Made of silk, they’re super gentle on your hair. My daughters use them at night to keep their hair up, and I use them the day after a blowout to avoid creases. Honestly, they look great anytime you need to throw your hair up.
- Alo Mindful Magnesium Bath Soak - This is hands down the best bath soak I’ve ever used. I started using it when I had muscle aches from a new Pilates routine, and now it’s my go-to for easing muscle pain and relaxing before bed.
LUXE PACKING
-
Rimowa Classic Cabin Aluminum Suitcase - Is there anything better than a well-loved Rimowa suitcase? Virtually indestructible, it only gets better with age.
-
Naked Cashmere's Heidi Ribbed Cashmere Jogger Set -This is literally heaven! While I typically don’t wear it on travel days, it’s amazing for lounging and cozy nights. The sweater top looks fabulous with jeans and boots, making it a multitasking gift!
-
Goyard Saint Louis GM Bag - This tote bag conveniently folds down to fit in your luggage. I usually tuck it into my carry-on for easy access to an extra tote when I need it!
-
Spinelli Kilcollin Ring - These iconic rings come in a variety of shapes and sizes, making it tough to choose just one. They can effortlessly elevate a simple jeans-and-T-shirt look into a full outfit!
